Providing Relief For Human Suffering, one person at a time.
Millions of people in developing countries suffer from diseases that are treatable to a large extent, but poverty has prevented them from receiving the proper care.
Poverty and poor health are inextricably linked, especially in developing countries where the former is often the cause or the consequence of the latter and vice versa. As a result, poor health is one of the greatest causes of suffering in many parts of the developing world.
Every year, millions of people in developing countries die prematurely or are disabled by diseases or disabilities that are to a large extent treatable or preventable but are not because of poverty. We are on a mission to change that. People suffering and in need of care should be able to access it regardless of where they live. With your help, we can make a difference, one person at a time.
- We are inspired to provide relief for needless human suffering caused by easily treatable medical conditions to individuals impacted by poverty in developing countries.
- Austin is just one example of the many individuals who can benefit from our work at the Relief for Human Suffering Foundation.
- Austin’s suffering lasted for over 30 years because he could not afford the treatment he required for his left lower leg wound. The simple skin graft surgery costing less than $3000 was out of reach for Austin until his surgery was funded directly to a local hospital by the donations of our generous and caring supporters. Austin’s surgery was completed in early 2022 at the National Orthopedic Hospital in Lagos, Nigeria.
- Join our mission to deliver relief for more people like Austin! Help make the world better one person at a time.
